9. How do I clean my ocarina?

The ocarina does not need washing very often, which is a nice thing about it. However, you can wipe the outside with a damp cloth and then a dry cloth to polish it up a bit. If you notice that it stops playing as clearly, you probably need to clean out the mouth channel. To do so, carefully pass a needle back and forth through the mouth channel (the part you blow through) to clear out any residue or buildup. You may need to do this a couple of times, and give it a few short, sharp blasts to clear out any loose stuff.
