Anyway... my brother and I both bought ocarinas; he a 5-hole sweet potato and myself a 12-hole alto. They are amazing! It's very easy to play. similar to a recorder, but a lot easier to play sharps and flats, plus it sounds a lot better (of course I only have a cheap plastic one, but still).  I play it whenever I can and am proud to say that I can almost play koume and kotake's theme as well as most other zelda songs, a few other songs I know from playing violin, and my favorite anime shows' theme songs. ** Hello. Today, after a week of waiting my sister came home from band camp and i got my ocarina in the mail!!! I was so excited i screamed when i saw the little white box with Songbird Ocarinas on it. It was WELL WORTH THE WAIT (I don't like to wait, so the week was brutal). When my sister got home we went to the beach with her friend and since I just got my ocarina I took it with. I was a little worried, but it didn't break. Anyway, i started playing a few times and since it's a soprano, a few people told me to shut up. But a few people liked it. On the way home we saw two guitarist playing for tips. They saw the ocarina around my wrist and asked me about it. They had never heard of one before and i told them they should look at this website, they come every year so i'll be looking forward to seeing them play an ocarina and guitar song! But i am VERY happy with this ocarina, a million thank yous!

** I must say, you have a fantastic product. I currently own four ocarinas. Three from Songbird and one froma renissance fair. Although my favorite is the small Sweet potato ocarina, I find that I'm still able to play all the songs I want. I just received my third ocarina from you today. I ordered it three days ago with regular shipping and I am amased how quickly you processed my order. I ordered a new one after having dropped my first ocarina on my tile floor. It shattered into seven pieces. I jumped online and ordered a new one immediately. But my first ocarina is special to me, so I found some bonding sealent stuff and put it back together. And to my surprise, it didn't sound any worse for wear. I suppose it is because of how vessel flutes work that I can thank for that, but the fact that it was crafted so well is visible. And this isn't the first time I dropped it. Oh that is certainly not the case. I've had these particular ocarina for four years, and I have broken it three times. First time I used apoxy to put it together again, but it was only in four pieces. Second time I use apoxy again. But after three deaths and three revivals, this ocarina still plays well. My new one sounds much better, but the fact that your ocarinas can hold a tune so resilently astounds me. Thank you Songbird Ocarinas. You gave me the one thing I never thought I'd have, an instrument that I can actually play and throughly enjoy playing. You put alot of work and polish into your products, and I want you to know that it shows. ** Thanks for the ocarinas (I got 2: Fairy Extended and Sweet Potato XL). I\'m a Choctaw Indian from Mississippi. My sister is in a Chocataw pageant in Pearl River (Choctaw capitol, I guess). Mom was going to show her how to play America The Beautiful on the piano for the talent part, but there was two problems: 1) She didn\'t know how to play the piano and 2)She doesn\'t even know how to read music! **  The day of my birthday I had no clue what lie in wait. I was bummed because my grandmother did not pick up on the hints I gave her on an Ocarina, I even left my magazine open on the page that it was advertised! As I opened my final funny shaped gift, I pulled back the wrapping to see a lovely Silk Dragon Carrying case, and knew what was inside. I opened it and put it to my lips as I had been dreaming of doing for so long, and played a single clear beautiful note. My whole family was urging me to play a song, and I promptly played them Zelda's Lullaby without the directions to tell me, I had been studying the sheets of music that I had printed off my computer (my mother commented on how I should study like that for school). **  Sorry I didn't mention this before but it's just so strange I had to tell it!!! My dad forced us to go open house browsing like he does every week. We stopped at this house I really liked. **  I love it lots and lots, I very rarely am ever without it (except sometimes I forget it at home, then I have a bad day). It's sort of become my mascot. I can't play it very well, because I have next to no musical talent, but it is the one instrument that I CAN play!! (that makes me happy! I've always wanted an ocarina!) **  When i first received my ocarina it was the best instrument i had ever seen and heard before in my life! The songbird ocarina is so easy to play on and at a great size so you can take it practically anywhere unlike big instruments that take up so much room everywhere. Also the songbird ocarina has such a great pure sound and very clear so clear that it seems like crystal clear water or glass! I'm a BIG Zelda fan and i always thought the ocarina sounded super on the game but if you play with your companies ocarina it sounded just as though i were in the game but even better because the sound is just wonderful and so pure it sounded super duper and all of those nice words! **  Aloha - I sell ocarinas (Songbird) on Maui, at a little outdoor market. They sell well because they are incredible musical instruments! Just down the road there is another outdoor market where someone just started selling S. American imports, for a LOT CHEAPER! **  I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much enjoyment my 11-year-old son has gotten from your high-quality ocarina. Although the wait for its arrival seemed interminable, the day finally DID come when it was there in the mailbox! I thought Spencer would have trouble learning to play it, but he already plays the saxophone and was able to instantly start playing the tunes in the songbook. **  Hello. I recently bought a Sweet Potato ocarina and have fallen in love with it. I love the music it makes, even my Mom likes the Zelda songs I know! They are wonderful, I play flute, and I do my ocarina more than my flute now. Thanks for making these great little flutes.
