Have you ever asked the question, do turtles sing?
Nope. Not only do they not sing, they don’t do much of anything but sit, swim, eat, sleep and climb on rocks. The only sounds they make are squeaks, whistles and groans.
We at Songbird didn’t like that answer.
So, we came up with our own turtle and wait till you listen to it. You won’t be hearing any squeaks, whistles, let alone any groans from your friends. That’s because we didn’t make a C turtle, but a G turtle, so it sounds warmer. This G pendant reaches up an octave and a 3rd (G5-B6), and comes with a little songbook/method so you can teach your turtle some nifty tunes and the handy strap keeps your pendant securely on you so it won’t take a swim when you’re sunbathing on the rocks.
It comes in a box. You won’t need to punch holes in it, but it will need some air from you to make it sound just right. And for the price of $24.95, you’ll be snapping up this one.
So don’t lag behind. Race to your Songbird Store and pick a winner.
The Key of G is known to convey the feeling of gratitude, and every gentle and peaceful emotion of the heart.
* What is Straw Fire?
Straw fire is when an already kiln-fired ocarina is put inside a fire-proof container and fired again with combustible straw. The smoke from the fire makes organic designs and rich woodsy color on the surface of the ocarina. The ocarina is then polished with an organic lacquer which comes from certain trees. Camphor oil is used to thin the lacquer. There are a very small number of individuals who have reported allergic reactions to the Straw Fired ocarinas. If you think you may be allergic to lacquer, or camphor oil, please choose a different ocarina.
